The cliche question all authors hate:
"Where do you get your ideas?"
The idea is the easy part. The idea is so easy to get, you can't give them away. I'm here to give them away, to share them, and invite you to recognize yours. We're all creative. Not all of us pay attention.
Because Kathe and I were distracted by . . . other issues, our tax returns for the last few years were not well-crafted. Now Kathe is diligently filing amendments back to 2008, which ought to bring us some much-needed money.
And next year, for sure, she is going to walk me through our tax return, and teach me how to file taxes the (non-depressed) Kathe way.

That's why we turn it over to the professionals. We'd still get bigger refunds if we kept better records, though.
